@OLIVER MTUKUDZI.........Oliver "Tuku" Mtukudzi (22 September 1952 – 23 January 2019) was a Zimbabwean musician, businessman, philanthropist, and human rights activist. He was born in Highfield, Harare, and was the firstborn in a family of seven siblings, growing up in a musical environment influenced by his parents, who were both singers. Over his career, he released over 60 albums and was known for his unique style that blended traditional Zimbabwean music with various genres, particularly Afro-Jazz. Mtukudzi was also a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for the Southern Africa Region, using his platform to advocate for social issues.
