@JOH MAKINI............Joh Makini, whose real name is John Simon Mseke, is a Tanzanian hip-hop artist, songwriter, and composer. Born on March 27, 1980, in Arusha, Tanzania, he has been active in the music industry since 2004. He is a founding member of the hip-hop group Weusi, alongside artists like Nikki Wa Pili, Bonta Maarifa, Lord Eyez, and G Nako.................Joh Makini gained recognition in 2006 with his hit song Chochote Popote, which established him as a rising star in Tanzanian hip-hop. Over the years, he has collaborated with various African artists, including Davido, Chidinma, and the late South African rapper AKA. His song Don’t Bother featuring AKA became a hit and earned him a nomination at the African Entertainment Awards USA.
