@FERRE GOLA....Ferré Gola, whose full name is Hervé Gola Bataringe, is a Congolese singer, songwriter, dancer, and record producer. Born on March 3, 1976, in Kinshasa, Zaire (now the Democratic Republic of the Congo), he is a key figure in Congolese rumba and ndombolo music. He began his musical career in the 1990s, first joining Wenge Musica and later Wenge Musica Maison Mère, where he gained recognition with the hit song Vita Imana. In 2004, he co-founded Les Marquis de Maison Mère, and in 2005, he joined Quartier Latin International, the band led by Koffi Olomidé.
